How to make Couscous with Chicken and Rocket?

Ingredients

Make sure to use the correct amounts when preparing the food.

Servings (default: 4)

  • 2 red onions
  • 4 chicken breast fillets (150 g each)
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 380 ml of broth
  • 200 g couscous
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika powder sweet
  • 100 g rocket


Preparation

Step 1

Ingredients:

2 red onions

Peel the onions and cut them into cubes.

Step 2

Ingredients:

4 chicken breast fillets (150 g each) - 2 tbsp rapeseed oil

Wash the chicken fillets, pat dry and fry in a pan in a little oil for 5 minutes on both sides. Add onions and fry for another 3 minutes.

Step 3

Ingredients:

380 ml of broth

Add the stock, put the lid on and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Then remove the fillets from the pan and set them aside.

Step 4

Ingredients:

200 g couscous - salt - pepper - 0.5 teaspoon paprika powder sweet

Put the couscous in the pan and let it soak over low heat for about 5 minutes with the lid closed. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Step 5

Ingredients:

100 g rocket

Wash the rocket and shake dry. Fold into the cooked couscous. Return the chicken fillets to the pan and serve.
